In 1901 a wealthy French heiress married an Italian doctor and decided to build their villa in Cascina, near Pisa, in a perfect Liberty style. Today the hall is abandoned and became the object of our restoration project. This unique example of French Liberty in Italy come back to life, changing its function; while the exterior facades are cleaned and remain the same, the interior spaces are transformed from house to public space with classrooms, auditorium, temporary exhibition areas, laboratories and a museum of farming tools. The analysis and the restoration include the villa and the nearby storehouse.
